Nelton company is looking for a passionate candidate for a position of Engineer in Machinery & Piping Department, who will be involved in the development of company’s projects
PIPING SYSTEM DESIGN ENGINEER
Machinery & Piping Department
Place of work:
Gdańsk - pomorskie / Szczecin - zachodniopomorskie
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications and reports
- Preparing and checking isometric drawings and piping plans using 3D modeling software
- Perform detail engineering and design of new piping installation on board ship
- Review drawings supplied by vendors
- Ensuring project compliance with industry standards and regulations
Our expectations:
- Bachelor’s degree in Naval engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience in engineering, preferably in marine industry
- Knowledge of the shipbuilding industry and practical experience
- Good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of Class and Statutory regulations will be an advantage
- Experience and ability to work with systems: Foran or CADMATIC will be an additional advantage
