NT-147 is designed for Purse seine fishing in open water as an efficient form of fishing and safety for environmental.
Fish catch can be very selective for smaller species of pelagic fish, if the catch is wrong species or wrong size the whole catch can be released unharmed before the net is hauled completely.
Purse seine has no contact with the seabed therefore minimal seabed impact.
As a purse seine is not towed through the water by the vessel, it has relatively low fuel consumption, limiting greenhouse gas emissions.
Transport of fish catch will be in ab. 400 cubic meters RSW tanks which can be used also as live fish tanks.

Depending on the vessels operation, propulsion system can be a diesel mechanical, diesel electric or a hybrid system using PTO/PTI.
The combined propulsion improves efficiency, increased reliability and redundancy.
Possibility to generate power from main engine and gen-sets optimize engine loads and fuel consumption which affect with lower emissions to environmental.
Optionally vessel can be equipped with battery pack which deliver power instantly during load peaks and recharges when load is low.
Additionally batteries used in port significantly reduce noise and emissions.
