Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform detail engineering and design of new piping installation on board ship
- Design and modify pipe routing in 3D modeling software
- Generate design and detail drawings and Isometrics utilizing 3D modeling software
- Generate detail piping drawings for submission to Classification Society for approval and for production/installation on board
- Coordinates designs with other disciplines
- Review drawings supplied by vendors
- Participation in design work aimed at new projects and improvement of current projects
Our expectations:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Naval engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in piping drafting and design in marine industry
- Experience in carrying out inspections on-board to rebuild ship systems, e.g. BWTS, Scrubbers, SCR or others will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Class and Statutory regulations
- Knowledge of FORAN or/and CADMATIC will be an advantage
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office system
- Very good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken
- Ability for teamwork and independence in solving tasks
