Nelton company is looking for a passionate candidate for a position of Senior Structure Design Engineer, who will be involved in the development of company’s projects
STRUCTURE DESIGN ENGINEER
Structure & Outfitting Department
Place of work:
Gdańsk - pomorskie / Szczecin - zachodniopomorskie
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participation in all phases of the project, starting from Concept & Initial Design, Basic Engineering with Detail Engineering and Workshop documentation at the end
- Developing detailed designs for the ship's hull structure, utilizing advanced modeling and simulation software
- Preparing & development of 3D models, 2D drawings
- Verification of drawings provided by external suppliers
- Work closely with other specialists such as pipe systems engineers, electricians or mechanics to ensure consistency and compliance with the design and schedule
Our expectations:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architect / Marine Engineering. or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience in engineering, preferably in marine industry
- Professional experience to work independently and lead technical and working projects
- Good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of Class and Statutory regulations will be an advantage
- Experience and ability to work with systems: Foran, CADMATIC/Nupas or INVENTOR will be an additional advantage
